I'm sorry I haven't been responding to the mail about patches-- I've
been a little busy with school / work (wait, I volunteer for that, that
shouldn't count).
I looked through some of these patches today. It makes me really happy
to see that people are actually using this. :) I've never received a
(sensible) patch for any of my other open source projects.
I'd commit some of this stuff, but when I try to commit:

I don't know who gokohnert is. (Chris, do you know?)
I hope it's not something malicious, but it's more likely a sourceforge
problem.
I'll file a help request with them but when I've had problems before
it's been a while (weeks) before they get around to them.
